We first came across Polywood products while on holiday in Florida, where several holiday homes had Polywood Adirondack chairs. They were of excellent quality and obviously standing up to the harsh seaside environment.
We recently built and moved into a new home. The front porch called for a bench to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Although the area is covered we needed something to stand up to to rain and intense sunshine. We were concerned that natural wood just wouldn’t stand the test of time. Remembering the Adirondack chairs we had seen, we immediately looked for a similar product available in the UK. We were thrilled to find that we were able to order Polywood products through you.
The bench took a little while to arrive which is understandable as it has come all the way from the USA. But it was well worth the wait. The bench is a slate grey colour which fits in perfectly with the colour scheme of the new house. It is comfy and we have had plenty of compliments on it. Best of all it is made from recycled material and should last us for many years to come.
Next year we will hopefully be ordering a couple of Adirondacks for the back garden. Polywood products aren’t cheap, but it’s an investment well worth making for something that will last for many years and never need painting.
