Every time we visited the US, we always seemed to end up sitting on a lovely adirondack chair at some point. It surprises me just how comfortable they are. A few years back, we completed patio renovations and created a space for a couple of adirondacks, however, our climate in western Scotland is a pretty damp affair, so we were looking for some really well made, robust and weatherproof items. After a lot of research we found Polywood. All I can say is WOW!!!!! After 3 years, our chairs are like new. They are exposed to the elements 365 days / year and whilst I had hoped the frame would stay in good condition, even the bolts which hold it together show no signs of rust or corrosion. This year we purchased matching ottoman stools and a bench. There was no difference between the 3 year old furniture and the brand new items. These are far from the cheapest items on the market, but worth every penny. I cannot rate these products and the supplier service highly enough
